now when you take a plant species, and constantly tweak and reverse and tweak and reverse the DNA so that the plant can be drenched in Glyphosphate and not die, that is genetically modifying the DNA structure in the species/plant, theres no crossing, graphting, just modifying the structure of its blueprint....

Roundup is going to be something like that of the Meso/Asbestos thing that happened, a sh!t ton of applicators are about and around, and noone takes anything seriously, until 60 years later then will figure out something wasnt right....

i get into arguements with "organic" gardeners around here all the time, when they say they use "organic" fertilizers, which are salt based, or "organic" pesticides for their fruits and vegetables and whatnot.... just because its "organic", doesnt mean its not TOXIC....

Monsanto is a joke, they are trying to monopolize on the fact that farmers dont have the money to pay workers, so they need planes full of Roundup to entirely drench football fields of plants with it to keep the weeds out, since they cant afford to have someone pull them.... think about all that [Bleeeeep!], and whatever may or may not bind to it and then leach into our rivers and streams, then what....

i do use ROundup, but not near my food, and usually at under the recommended application rates, if you do it in the right time of day/year, it works just fine at lower mixing ratios....

GMO is not naturally occurring mutations (natural insertion or deletions of DNA material). Your dads heart valve doesn't make your dad a GMO, unless they spliced pig DNA with your fathers DNA and he generated a heart valve on his "own". I worry for my kids. I've treated my body like a whore house but that doesn't mean it's too late. What my concern with GMO is, it's not sustainable over the long haul. Some day our agricultural system will come crashing down and we'll have to bail out Monsanto because they'll be too big to fail.

So really what are GMO's all about anyways.

1. You need less land to yield a greater harvest.
2. You grow a lower maintanience crop resistant to fungus and bugs.
3. Your crops are not fertile so you can't harvest your own seeds.
4. You will solve world hunger? Nope that did not happen.

So the corn we buy is not really "corn".
The wheat is not really " wheat".
So on and so on...

So what are we eating? And what the hell is the purpose of the whole thing? Is it good for humanity or not?

I got a feeling it's like Fiat currancy, we are just starting to figure out that it was not good for us and we were taken advantage of.. Maybe in tis case poisoned!!

Not to mention how Monsanto not just ruined farming they also ruined farmers. They effectively have a patent on their pollen. Pollen that effectively ruins your seed crop could mean Monsanto sues and takes your farm and all assets.

...and we wonder what happened to the honey bees. Honey bees and other pollinators like butterflies are not needed by Monsanto since they're producing a sterile seed. Wholesale chemical warfare happening around us and most people are willing participants. Our kids and grandkids will (hopefully) look back and say WTF were you thinking? How could you let this happen?

also FYI, if you want to get seeds that arent Monsanto produced, they are on the internet.....

even Russians can buy them, GMO or non GMO style...
